Meet The Club Directors
Jason & Haley Patch
Champion athletes are not just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and challenged. Established in 2022, Granite State Volleyball Club prides itself on developing youth volleyball players to be top level athletes. We select athletes to join our program who have a passion for the game of volleyball and are driven to succeed. We hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship are the hallmarks of Granite State Volleyball Club. Granite State Volleyball Club was founded by Jason and Haley Patch in the summer of 2022. Haley, having spent over a decade coaching club volleyball and over two decades invested in the volleyball world and Jason, newly passionate about the game of volleyball but having over 25 years of experience coaching youth sports, were passionate about developing a program that gave young volleyball-loving athletes the opportunity to learn, train and grow in a safe and fun setting. Their mission was and continues to be to foster a welcoming and positive environment for all members of all ages and skill levels. They believe in hiring knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate coaches who are dedicated to their mission of demonstrating and training strong volleyball fundamentals, skills and strategies in a low-pressure environment.

Coach Haley Patch
Co-Director
18U Navy Head Coach
My purpose as a coach is to educate athletes on their volleyball technique and abilities but also, and possibly more importantly, to encourage players to develop skills that go beyond the volleyball court such as responsibility, punctuality, teamwork, kindness, loyalty and commitment to their teammates, program and to their goals. I aim to create an environment for all players that fosters a positive learning environment where talent levels can be pushed, tested and challenged while having fun and cultivating meaningful relationships. As a leader of this program, my objective is to have all athletes, regardless of their skills and ability, feel that they are a better person for having been a part of this athletic club.

Coach Erica Markson
15U White Head Coach
Erica Markson was born and raised in Tilton, NH! She graduated from SNHU in 2021 and has spent the last two years working as a Special Education teacher in the Concord School District. This fall, she is thrilled to be starting a new chapter as a 2nd-grade teacher!
Volleyball has been a huge part of her life. She played through middle school, high school, and on SNHU’s Club Team as a Right Side hitter. Her club experience began at Lakes Region and wrapped up with Capital Region, and she's always loved the energy and excitement of tournament weekends with teammates. Now, she gets to relive that joy as a coach!
She's heading into my second season of coaching after an amazing first year with Meraki’s 14 Northeast team and coaching the Rundlett Middle School A-Team. Coaching allows her to combine her love for teaching, mentoring, and the game, and she couldn’t be more excited to bring that to GSVC!
When she's not in the classroom or on the court, you’ll usually find her by the lake, playing with her mini goldendoodle Magnolia, crafting with my Cricut, or scoring deals at TJ Maxx and Target (especially for classroom or team fun)! She also loves line dancing, country concerts, themed lesson planning, and enjoying a big bowl of ice cream!
She's beyond excited to start this journey with GSVC and can’t wait to make new memories with the teams!

Hi Everyone!
My name is Coach Hannah! During the 2023-24 season, I spent the entire year working with and developing the 13U Navy players and so, this upcoming 2024 summer season will be my second season coaching at GSVC! I have been playing volleyball as a setter for 5 years now, and coaching volleyball for 4, and I am so excited to continue this volleyball journey into the upcoming season! Honestly, volleyball is my life and my passion, and it is my goal as a coach to spread my passion, knowledge, and positivity with the next generation of strong volleyball athletes. I hope to encourage great team players who not only look to better themselves, but to better those around them in order to create a stronger team.

Coach Elanni Romero
Substitute, Summer Camp & Clinic Coach
Hello!
I am Coach Elanni and I began playing in my sophomore year of high school and have played with GSVC for two years! The coaches at GSVC are some of the best and have prepared me well to feel confident enough to fill this position. I still have a lot to learn but I simply wish to spread the knowledge I have learned over these past few years to ambitious young girls who are curious and love the sport of volleyball just as much as I do. I hope to create a fun and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable enough to ask questions to level up their game. I will be attending Mount Holyoke College in the fall and I have been recruited to their volleyball team! This would not have been possible without GSVC and I hope you take a chance to play for us, you won’t regret it!
